Overview
There are many forms of interaction between a Developer and the
Development Control Approving Authority, during the course of
a
project development. Between each stage of a development, different
types of Approvals have to be obtained from the approving authorities,
and that may involve different personals such as technicians and
planners, who will have influence over the decision making process.
In
some extent, external organizations (or Authorities) have to
be consulted and the relevant documentation has to be communicated.
Subsequently, the Development Control Authority will have to forward
the outcome back to the developer.
Development Control is said to be the process of development applications,
which access an information database related to land usage for decision-making.
This system provides a broad base of information with retrieval
tools supporting Land Use studies, and other land related assessment.
It includes features to track usage and consumption on land resources
specific up to individual projects, as well as consolidating such
information over different stages for every project life cycle,
with the relevant details obtained from various development applications
from the respective Development Control Authorities.
Development Control Processes are relatively complex system that
encompasses a wide range of Land and Infrastructure Development
activities, such as "City Planning Control", "Additions
and Alternations or Change of Land Usage".
